Back in August 1994, my father was chairman of an environmentally friendly public transport project called MIST (Maidstone Initiative for Sustainable Transport). At the time, Tom Baker and his wife, Sue Jerrard, lived near us. My father hired Tom and Sue, and TV producer Peter Williams, to make him a corporate video to promote the project. So on one summer’s day, in August 1994, my 17 year old Whovian self got to spend the day with Tom and Sue, as well as appearing as an extra in the video!
It’s not every day when one gets to spend a day with a childhood hero! A very entertaining day!
